What are the care instructions for the 100% Bamboo Jersey fabric?

Our Bamboo Fabrics can be machine washed cold or warm and tumble dry. Gentle cycle is recommended. No bleach or fabric softener.

What type of dyes do you use?

We use a low-impact dyeing method. We do not bleach or pre-bleach our fabrics, nor use any fixing agents.

How much UV Protection does the fabric have?

Our 100% bamboo fabric has a natural UV protection, SPF of 14.

What type of manufacturing process do you use to make your bamboo fabrics?

The manufacturing process for producing our bamboo fibers using the lyocell process are as follows:

The bamboo cellulose is dissolved into a viscose solution.
Hydrogen peroxide is added as a stabilizer and the solution is forced through spinnerets into a hardening bath which causes the thin streams of viscose bamboo solution to harden into bamboo cellulose fiber threads.
The regenerated bamboo fiber threads are spun into bamboo yarn for weaving into fabric.

The lyocell processing is substantially healthier and eco-friendly because N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide is supposedly non-toxic to humans and 99.5% of the chemicals used during the processing are captured and recycled.

What types of Certifications do you have?

Our Bamboo Fabric manufacturing facility has established ISO 9000/9001/9004/19011: 2000 Quality Management policy and ISO 14000/14001 Environmental Management Policy. More information on the International Organization for Standardization can be found at http://www.iso.org/iso/home.htm

What is the minimum quantity for wholesale orders?

For wholesale orders the total minimum quantity is 50 yards, and can be in combination of different colors.

What is the wholesale shipping cost and what is the handling time?

Shipping estimate is determined by size, weight and destination. We will advise approximate shipping cost prior to finalizing order. Hawaii state sales tax only applies for orders within the state of Hawaii, all other destinations are tax free. Orders of less than 1000 yards are packaged and shipped within 1-3 business days.

What is your return policy?

You may return new, uncut, and undamaged items sold and fulfilled by Bamboo Textile Store within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, excluding any shipping charges. Items should be returned in its original condition. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.

How can I track the status of my order?

When your order ships from our fulfillment center, you will receive an email confirmation with your shipment tracking number. You may also track your order status by logging onto your account here.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Bamboo Textile Store normally picks, packs and ships all orders within 1-2 business days from the time the order was placed. A business day is considered to be Monday through Friday, not including holidays. Orders placed with Express or Expedited Shipping before 12:00 noon EST will usually ship the same business day (not including Saturdays and Sundays) pending credit card authorization and verification. Orders placed after 12 noon, EST, or orders pending credit approval will ship the next business day.

Do you ship international?

Yes, we ship to international countries and shipping cost is normally paid by the customer. Free shipping promotions only apply to domestic mailing addresses.

What if I receive an incorrect or damaged item?

In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us for assistance.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, and Paypal Checkout. We do not accept cash, checks or cash-on-delivery (C.O.D.).

How do I change my email preferences or account information?

Directly under the password field is a link that says "Forgot your Password?"
You will be taken to the password screen, where you will be prompted to enter in your email address
Type your email address and click the "continue"
We will send an email with a temporary password. For security purposes, your original password will be reset by our system.

When you're ready to proceed to check out, enter your email address and your new temporary password.
